At Chamberlain Contractors,we specialize in paving private use and commercial parking lots. Not highways, not driveways, but parking lots. This means that our entire fleet of asphalt paving equipment and mind set of our asphalt pavers are focused on asphalt paving parking lots. We know the difference between a parking lot that needs complete asphalt repaving or one that needs minor asphalt repairs. We will recommend, and can perform, the asphalt paving service that’s right for your parking lot. We also have a full spectrum of asphalt equipment from small to large (asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, digging equipment and dump trucks) that are the right size for the construction job. All this adds up to less downtime for your commercial parking lots and the best quality job available in the paving industry.

Any asphalt paving job starts with notifying your tenants and customers that the parking lot (or a section of it) will be closed for a specific period of time. We help you with the notification process. Most importantly, we show up on the day we say we will.

The next step in the asphalt construction process is that we perform any asphalt patching to make parking lots structurally sound. We clean the asphalt pavement, perform any edge milling necessary and if specified we apply paving fabric. We tack coat the parking lot thoroughly to ensure that the new pavement will bond to the old pavement. We then haul the asphalt to the construction site in our own hauling trucks and leave the paved asphalt lot with an even layer of new asphalt. While the lot is still blocked off, our striping crews will layout and paint new parking spaces and other necessary traffic markings. 

An asphalt paving job (or overlay), properly done, will make your parking lot look new again. The life of a repaved asphalt lot should be greater than the life of the original parking lot because the thickness of the new pavement will be greater than it was originally.
